Apollo Tyres Ltd was incorporated in 1972. It has four units in India and one in Netherlands and Hungary each. Its first plant was set up in Kerala, India. Earlier it manufactured only four-wheeler tyres but in 2016, it started manufacturing two-wheeler tyres as well.

Founded in 1889 in France, Michelin stands as one of the top tyre brands in the world. It is very much popular and preferred in India as well. It specialises in making high-quality radial tyres and also invented removable tyres.

Established in 1924 in Turin, CEAT is one of the world’s largest tyre manufacturers. Its headquarters are present in Mumbai, India. It produces tyres for buses, trucks, cars, two-wheelers, three-wheelers, commercial vehicles, tractors, earthmovers and trailers.

Founded in 1974 in Delhi, JK tyres is one of the leaders in producing radial tyres for buses and trucks. With its headquarters in Delhi, JK tyres is a popular tyre brand globally and a preferred brand in India.


  1. Goodyear Tyres

Founded in 1898 by Frank Seiberling in Ohio, Goodyear Tyre and Rubber Company is a Multinational tyre manufacturer. Goodyear gained popularity through their easily detachable tyres. It became the most successful tyre supplier in Formula One and is still on top. Today, it is one of the top tyre brands worldwide.

Founded in Milan, Italy, Pirelli is a multinational company and is one of the largest tyre manufacturers globally. With its active participation in motorsports, especially in Formula One, Pirelli has gained worldwide popularity.

Founded in Japan in 1983, Falken tyre is owned by the Japanese company Sumitomo Rubber Industries. It has three headquarters globally in Japan, Germany and the United States.
